In the system preferences on every iOS device, you’ll find Apple’s Find My service, formerly known as Find My iPhone. Your Apple ID is used for logging in and control the app. Find My iPhone is a free app that allows you to track down your lost or stolen iPhone using iCloud.com/find or another Apple device. You can also have a member of your Family Sharing group use the Find My iPhone app. Alternatively, you can sign in with your Apple ID to the Find My app on another Apple device and use that instead.
Use the same iCloud account used to sign in to the lost iPhone if using Find My on the website or another device. Tap on all devices at the top right of the screen after signing in, then pick your phone from the dropdown menu. You’ll be taken to your phone’s current location after the map is refreshed. The last place will be seen if the device has been turned off.
Turn on Lost Mode, play a sound, or remotely erase your phone using the card in the upper-right corner of the screen while looking at the device’s location. It’s also possible to turn notifications when your lost device is found in the Find My app, even if it’s not connected to the internet.
Find My app not only works on all Apple phones but also Samsung, Infinix, Tecno mobiles, and all other android phones as well.
