The Matrox VideoLab offers live, online demonstrations of multi-channel capture, encoding, extension, decoding, display, and control for mission-critical and commercial applications
MONTREAL — June 3, 2021— Matrox® Video today announces Matrox VideoLab, an innovation lab designed to showcase Matrox’s complete encoder, decoder, IP KVM, video wall, and software portfolio. The VideoLab offers partners and customers live, interactive demonstrations of multi-channel capture, encoding, streaming, recording, extension, switching, decoding, display, and control over standard one Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) networks for a variety of AV-over-IP workflows.
Technology in action
The VideoLab connects Matrox with its customers through custom showcases of single or multi-product demonstrations and collaborative, open standards-based infrastructures integrating Matrox technologies alongside third-party products. Each showcase replicates live AV-over-IP ecosystems capable of delivering multiple channels of high-quality, low-latency, low-bitrate 4K and HD content over LAN, WAN, and internet. This type of optimized AV content delivery and communication is essential for a wide range of mission-critical and commercial applications within government, medical, utilities, security, crisis and emergency management, enterprise, and retail facilities.
“In the absence of in-person meetings and tradeshow events, the Matrox VideoLab provides us with a virtual platform to bring Matrox’s latest innovations and feature sets directly to our customers,” said Jochen Köhl, director of sales and marketing at Matrox Video Germany. “The VideoLab helps bridge the distance gap by allowing us to provide highly personalized demonstrations, right down to the customers’ exact project requirements. Two-way-enabled communication also allows participants to ‘interact’ with the technology or ecosystem in real-time for the most seamless remote customer journey experience possible.”
