sorry – this cartogram is … ugly. it would be nice if that esri site had a place for comments, or a discussion on how it was made, pros/cons of that algorithm, etc.

Glenn, Can you me more @mayrlandgis about the Pinterest app? Dozens come up on GPlay, and I can’t find the one you name.

My top Android apps are:

– Google Reader. Since I connected with social media to widen career horizons, this is my first stop whenever I have a spare moment.

– TweetDeck. My second stop. Because it points me to blog posts, and to blogs to add to Reader. It’s even better — simpler — on Android than in Chrome. Because it opens to where I left off in time moving forward. Even compels me to keep up and check in often.

– Firefox browser. Syncs my desktop and mobile bookmarks like no other. (Like no other available on Android 2.4 that runs on my DroidX.)

I used to dabble in GIS work in a previous life as a graphics editor. I don’t have as much time today to focus on mapping, but I still have an armchair fascination and appreciation. Let me know what I can do to help, and keep up the great work!
