The one where Glenn drives around the San Diego Gaslamp on Sunday afternoon with Esri Spatial Analysis Product Engineer, (think spatial statistics, space time pattern etc…) Lauren Bennett. If you’ve ever been lucky enough to attend a UC then there’s no doubt that you’ve been wow’d and impressed by Lauren by her Monday plenary session presentation – she’s pretty much an annual tradition and fixture in the Monday lineup! This year Lauren did a great job as the plenary MC.
Lauren schools me on the difference between product engineers and software engineers, we discuss women in technology and at Esri, chat about how the ESRIUC plenary is planned out and delivered. She also talks about spatial temporal analysis and space time pattern analysis, obviously a passion of hers. Oh, and if Lauren isn’t busy enough in her position at Esri and with her tasks at UC, she’s also a new mom, wow! Enjoy the drive and thanks to Lauren for being a good sport and really interesting!
